Mark your calendars & join the fun!  Green Country Classic Mustangs is hosting it's annual membership Christmas party Friday, December 14, 2007 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm @ the Home Builders Association on 43th & Garnett.

Cost is $10 per person.  RSVP & pre-pay required by December 10, 2007.  The actual expense is more than $10 per person but the club picks up the tab for cost exceeding the $10.  It's kind of like a rebate on your membership fee!

Entertainment this year will be provided by "Elvis".  So come on out, bring the kids and have some fun.

Don't forget Toys for Tots...bring a new unwrapped toy.

Spring Cruise
Woolaroc
April 12, 2008

Jim Reynolds has arranged for us to go to Woolaroc on Saturday, April 12th. We will meet at the Phillips 66 station at the intersection of Highways 20 and 75 at 9:00 AM. We will arrive at Woolaroc around 10: AM and make the tour. If you drive your mustang, you can get in for half price. There is a special attraction going on called Mountain Trademen’s Jamboree.  Then after we tour Woolaroc we can have a free buffet lunch at the local Osage Casino. They will also give us $5.00 of free play. Then we can head back to Tulsa with a full tummy and hopefully full pockets

Christmas Cruise
December 15, 2007
Guthrie, Ok

We will be cruising to Guthrie, OK to meet up with our sister club, The Oklahoma Mustang Club, for a fun filled day in Guthrie, OK.  Guthrie has an old fashion Victorian Christmas celebration.  There are many antique shops, museums, etc to visit.  Plus there will be carriage rides and trolley rides as well.  The Pollard Theatre is putting on a Territorial Christmas Carol at 2:00 and 7:00 that day.

Hook -N- Cookoff
September 22, 2007
Pelican Landing, Grand Lake

Family entertainment at it’s finest highlights the National Hook-N-Cookoff.  Teams of cooks from around the country prepare Catfish, hushpuppies and Cole Slaw for judging by everyone in attendance.

The day is filled with crafts, games for the children, horseshoes and music, along with some of the best eatin’ you will ever have.  This is also the same weekend as the Pelican Festival.

Fall Cruise to Hot Springs
October 27-28, 2007

Back by popular demand...a fall cruise to Arkansas.  This year it will be an overnight trip.  We will be leaving on Saturday morning, cruise over the Talihina Drive, have lunch at Queen Wilhelmina Lodge, and spend the night in Hot Springs.

If you are planning to go on the overnight cruise to Hot Springs , Arkansas , on Oct. 27, 2007, you will find a link to book your hotel below.  The rate is $81.95 + tax.  We will be staying at the Clarion on the Lake Hot Springs .  This is a very good rate as almost everything else I found was over $90.  They are holding 10 rooms, but they must be reserved by September 27 to have this rate.  After Sept. 27 they will return to the hotel at the regular rate.  If you have any questions please call me at 272-2127 or email me at webmaster@greencountryclassicmustangs.com

GCCM Cook Out, Car Show & Family Get together
July 28, 2007

Come and join in the fun at Todd & Melvin Little's Shop in Sapulpa, OK.  The fun begins starting at 2:00 pm with hamburgers being served at 4:00.

There is plenty of parking and lots of shade. Plus if everything goes right...there may be a surprise in store. Mark Harwood may get to official start his new engine in the car Todd is restoring for him.

Melvin is even inviting some prospect new members to join us...so come prepared to have a great time.

The club is providing the hamburgers.
